Stripes, dots, gradients...any pattern you can come up with, you can dye.  We will start with a pre-knit panel of sock yarn (75% superwash merino/25% nylon) and dye it with acid dyes.  Patterns created on the knit panel will then be retained when the yarn is knit in the same width/circumference as the knit panel.  Choose from either a panel that is knit double-stranded so you can knit two identical, patterned socks, or a single-stranded blank suitable for shawls and other projects where matching is not necessary.
